Cetrimide is an antiseptic for cleaning wounds, healing small burns, scalds, abrasions, and even seborrheic dermatitis. Antiseptic and disinfecting first aid drug. Additionally, it is used to treat acne, sunburn, and bug bites.

Uses of Cetrimide

·         To cleanse the wounds

·         Treatment of some skin disorders

·         To treat minor burns and to prevent infection in cuts, small bruises, chapped hands, and nappy rash

 When should one not use Cetrimide

Allergy to Cetrimide or any of its ingredients

Common side effects of this drug are:

·         Skin irritation

·         Long term use of this medicine may cause an allergy to Cetrimide
